With the win, the 34-year-old Piatkowska improves to (12-1, 4 KOs) and Domini drops to (13-2, 3 KOs) with the loss.


Yazmin Rivas, Torreon, Mexico, in her first defense of the WBA World female super-bantamweight title, pounded out a ten-round, lopsided unanimous decision (98-92/98-92/99-91) over Cordoba, Argentina’s, Cristina del Valle Pacheco. Rivas, 30, improved to (39-10-1, 11 KOs) with the win whereas Pacheco drops to a deceiving (11-12-2, 2 KOs).

In the co-main event, Jackie “La Princesa Azteca” Nava, 118, pounded Carolina Alvarez, 118, into submission resulting in an Alvarez retirement before the start of round seven. The 38-year-old Nava has aged well and looks as dominate as ever and improves to an impressive (35-4-3, 16 KOs). Alvarez, with the loss, drops to (14-10-4, 9 KOs).
