An Australian dystopian future: the world of THE WAY OUT
We’re in week two of rehearsals for The Way Out, delving into a thought-provoking future Australia, born from the mind of playwright Josephine Collins. This moving and relevant new play was developed through our INK program and we can’t wait to share it with you.
Our cast includes five much-loved Ensemble members; Kevin Hofbauer, Rory Kelly, Grace Lowry, Olga Makeeva and Dion Mills, and we’re delighted to welcome guest actor Sahil Saluja in his Red Stitch debut. Under the guidance of director Penny Harpham, they’re building an entire world around the hope growing from a little pub in regional Victoria.
Here is your sneak peek into their rehearsal room:
Ensemble actors Grace Lowry and Olga Makeeva as Helen and Claire.
Penny Harpham directs.
Kevin Hofbauer returns to the stage as Ryan.
Rory Kelly as Fyfe and Dion Mills as Stewart.
Introducing Sahil Saluja as Harry.
