The first thing I noticed was the colour some Pinot Gris have quite a pink tinge
This was pale, not a hint of pink at all.

On the nose apples, stone fruit, spice and a waxy lanolin which I like.

In the mouth this wine was dry much dryer than I remembered it to be and quite rich and powerful,
stone fruit and spice flowed over the palate with a wonderful acid that cleaned the plate and finished quite dry loved it.

Conclusion: Pinot Gris comes in many different shapes and colors I enjoyed this Gris and found it different it was crisp, dry, refreshing
With good acid and a long finish 10/10.
And it was just the ticket for Thai food.

(Have I said just how much I loved it?)

Michael Lillis I love my Food and Wine and make a living from both
