    • Major Leagues :: It Was Always You

“It was always you, but all I can see now is blue.”
Brissy four piece Major Leagues are back with a brand new single, ‘It Was Always You’, produced by Popfrenzy label-mate Jonathon Boulet. With a classic 60s garage-pop structure, it’s stacked with bright, sunny guitars, tight drums, and melodic bass lines – beautifully offsetting the darker theme of post-breakup regret and longing.
‘It Was Always You’ is the first taste from the band’s debut album, set for release later this year. It’s the first we’ve heard from Major Leagues since 2016’s Dream States EP and co-headline tour with Sydney legends Flowertruck. They’ve also toured with Beach Fossils, Wild Nothing, The Preatures and Bloods – so you can bet this new track is going to sound even better live.
