GALLERY - George Maple – Local Live at FBi
Mega talented Sydney artist George Maple blew us away with an enchanting set of heavy bass and haunting vocals, for Local Live at FBi. Among crowd favourites ‘Talk Talk’ and ‘Fixed’, she performed a dark and beautiful cover of Jeff Buckley‘s ‘Everybody Here Wants You’.

SPOD – TrackSuits Takeover
SPOD celebrated the 10th Anniversary and re-release of his ridiculous party album “Taste the Radness” by storming the studio and taking over TrackSuits for a RADNESS themed show.
A “self-styled humble genius” and “iconic legend” of the Sydney music scene, SPOD’s stint as co-host traversed a wide range of banging tunes and topics, from the Sydney scene in the early noughties, to the role of ego and identity in music, and a shitload of humblebragging.

Sad day for community radio
Today is a sad day for community radio, but we're not giving up.
Last night the Federal Government failed to deliver the funding needed to keep all of our community digital radio services running.
But we won't give up the fight for a digital future for community radio - and I hope you won’t either.
Last night's budget was a set-back, but we won't let it be a death sentence. Community radio is too important.

Thursday 16th:
Living in the Ruins
Who are you? What does it mean? Where did you come from? What is life? Stop writing shitty poetry and staring at the planets. Livings in the Ruins shows history has answers. This exhibition, curated in association with the New York mag, Cabinet, is based around the idea of the twentieth century as a history of false starts, missing utopias and misbegotten technologies. It’s an archaeological dig into the material culture that makes up our present lives.

FBi Supports Community Radio
FBi’s digital radio service is at risk – we need your help to change this.
FBi and other community broadcasters rely upon Federal Government funding to cover the cost of digital radio transmission. Government funding reductions in the last budget mean that many community digital radio services across the country will have to be switched off unless we can convince the Government to address the funding shortfall.
