  • EXCLUSIVE SPECIAL INVESTIGATION: Hopley Demolition under attack by City of Greater Bendigo council

Our chief reporter has been rather quiet of late, for good reason. He has been working diligently on a long and somewhat protracted investigation between a well respected small business "Hopley Demolition" who is being badgered by their local council "City of Greater Bendigo" over use of a small piece of land known as "White Hills" tip site.

The Toorak Times has met with owner of Hopley Demolition, Mr. Ken Hopley and discussed the circumstances surrounding the case which has dragged on for more than 3 years.

We are surprised and shocked to find out that our country counterparts are in a tug-of-war over this matter and in coming weeks, we will be publishing an in-depth feature article with all the details of this council flexing their muscles and trying to stamp out this small business by unfairly trying to shut them down by starving them of work.

Stay tuned for further updates, with exclusive photos and quotes from Ken Hopley.
