The kitchen is the heart of a house where you feel safe to sit and eat. But to your surprise, today, we will tell you that the kitchen is the biggest source of bacterial contamination. Amid a global pandemic taking care of kitchen hygiene to prevent any contamination from the food brought from outside is also imperative. Research has shown that the moist and humid temperature of the kitchen is favourable for microorganisms to grow and reproduce. Therefore, taking preventive measures is crucial.

    Countertops And Refrigerator:

Food preparation, while placed on the countertops can spread bacterias from the food to the surface. Even the cloth towels used in the kitchen to clean the countertops can also harbour bacteria in them. In addition to the countertops, refrigerators due to their humid surfaces are another place in the kitchen where bacteria can grow and spread easily. Disinfect kitchen countertops and refrigerators with a trusted alcohol-based https://spreadgoodvibesonly.com.au/m...rpose-cleaner/. Cleaning kitchen surfaces and glass cabinets by spraying them with a disinfecting spray is significant for maintaining good health.

    Fruits And Vegetables

Your all-time favourite fruits and vegetables if not wash effectively for the first time, can prove to be the biggest source of contamination. Fruits and vegetables are harvested from the fields where insecticides and pesticides are sprayed on them. Therefore, eating them without proper cleaning can cause toxicity. This leads to nausea, acidity, vomiting, and diarrhea. Touching other places after holding them in hands can also spread these toxic germs, therefore, the use of a Hand Sanitiser is necessary here.

    Sinks And Garbage Cans

Sinks and garbage cans are the most ignored places in the kitchen. Disinfecting them timely is important as these are the places most prone to bacterial presence. Washing and drying the surface can help cease the growth of bacteria.

Moreover, garbage bags should be replaced daily for maintaining a healthy kitchen environment. Common bacteria found in the kitchens are E Coli, shigella. Norovirus and Hepatitis A. The life span of E Coli is for hours while salmonella lives for about four hours. However, the germs of Hepatitis A can survive for months.

    Cooking Utensils

There are a variety of kitchen utensils, knowing how to use them properly and maintaining the criteria of hygiene is of paramount importance. The kitchen tongs used often need to be cleaned immediately after their use for grilling and barbecue purposes is a must. Sanitise these tongs by washing them in hot soapy water. However, air-drying them before placing them in the cupboard is also an essential step of sanitising.

Had you ever imagined before that the kitchen could be contaminated with germs to this extent? If not, now you know it better. Saving yourself and your family from outside and inside harboured germs is essential. Start taking the above-mentioned measures to maintain your kitchen hygiene and live safely in your house without fearing any sickness or infections.

      Iraqi Civil War

As Iraq breaks down into civil war our Prime Minister is making noises that we may have to take part in an 'allied' resolve to interfere again.

      What do you think?
I think we should never have taken part first time round. Either the US and its allies are profoundly stupid in that they could not envisage the mayhem they would cause given the initial conditions, or profoundly clever, since last I heard of the $2 Trillion the US spent in Iraq, 90...
