Default Seppelt St Peters Shiraz 2008

This wine is underrated and I don’t know why, really I think it’s the name SEPPELTS just an old fashion brand. I offer it to customers and they look at me and say that’s an old wine.
Well no, Seppelts is an old brand that has been around since the year dot.
But the wine is up there with the rest of Australia’s fine wines so what is wrong with the youth of today. Buy an old brand and be impressed, this wine is a ripper and I still have some left on the shelves. In fact St Peters is the flagship wine and only the finest fruit is used.
Ripe, peppery spicy aromas, violets, blackberries, dusty earth all fill the nostrils.
In the mouth there are long fine-grained velvety tannins, it's earthy and dusty, with layers of bright fruit that open up with every mouth full.
Look it will cost you around $59.95
However I think the quality of this wine is unappreciated by the general public and there for a one hell of a Bargain for the rest of us that stumble across Seppelts old fashion reds.
I love my wine and food
