SHEPPARD announced to perform at fourth 2014 Clipsal 500 Concert
The star studded entertainment line-up for the 2014 Clipsal 500 Adelaide has just received another boost with the announcement of a fourth concert headlined by The Potbelleez and Brisbane-based indie band, Sheppard. The Potbelleez and Sheppard will kick off a massive four days of off-track entertainment at the 2014 Clipsal 500 which also features; Bliss N Eso, Horrorshow, Empire Of The Sun, Kimbra, Grammy & ARIA Award winning Keith Urban, with Guy Sebastian and Boom Crash Opera. Fans will get their first taste of action when The Potbelleez and Sheppard take the stage on the Concert Oval from 12 noon on Thursday February 27, which is the first day of the event. IIan Kidron from The Potbelleez in a message to the Clipsal 500 said "The Potbelleez have a close relationship going back a few years with the Clipsal 500 and V8s. There's something about cars and big anthemic songs that go hand in hand...where the streets of Adelaide burn to the sounds of soaring melodies, banging beats and a fantastic atmosphere. We are eager to be there on Thursday 27th Feb for the lunchtime concert with Sheppard." Clipsal 500 CEO, Mark Warren, said there had already been an impressive response from fans for the concerts already announced and he expects the momentum to build with this latest announcement. “We are very pleased to announce a fourth concert performance from noon on Thursday February 27 to launch a world-class line-up of off-track entertainment at this year’s Clipsal 500. “The idea behind a Thursday lunchtime concert is to provide an additional daytime attraction to the event. We expect demand will continue to be strong for all our entertainment performances so we suggest fans don’t leave it to the last minute to purchase tickets as capacity is limited”, Warren said.
