Chugg Music has helped to launch the international careers of many of its artists, including platinum selling five-piece, Sheppard, and Sydney indie-pop group, The Griswolds, who are currently recording their first album in LA for Wind-Up Records out of the USA. Chugg Music also represent Deep Sea Arcade, Hey Geronimo, Major Leagues, Lime Cordiale, and have recently signed New Zealand folk-pop band,Avalanche City (Gold album, #1 in NZ). In a major move to expand into the US market, Michael Chugg has announced that Chugg Music will launch their label in North America on 25th February. To continue the growth of Chugg Music internationally, the label will be distributed by Super D / Alliance and MGM.

The first release will be Falling Up The Stairs (available here) the current EP by Sydney’s Lime Cordiale, who will move to Los Angeles in February to support the release. Lime Cordiale have recently signed to The Agency Group in Los Angeles, with Val Wolfe and Crystal Moore on-board as responsible agents.

Lime Cordiale will perform at SXSW Music Festival 2014, featuring on Chuggi’s 50th Anniversary Party / Chugg Music Showcase on Thursday 13th March as well as The Aussie BBQs in LA and Austin. The band were most recently featured as one of four ‘must-see’ Australian acts of the festival on the official SXSW website. They have also been named Artist of the Month on the tastemaker Passport Approved radio show. Check out all upcoming US dates here.
