2010 Barossa Shiraz is a no brainer almost any thing red coming out of the 2010 vintage is a winner;
it was hard to make a bad wine in the Barossa that year.
This is a multi vineyard blend producing a plush full flavored chocolate box Shiraz.
The wine has spent two years in large old American oak giving the wine depth and a hint of elegance.
That will age and develop in the bottle for a few more years so it would make sense to tuck a dozen or two away.
2010 Barossa at this price you will be a winner. Look at the names behind the Sole Growers brand.
David Cruickshank, Paul Heinicke and Brothers, James and Paul Lindner.
They have a few years wine making behind them and they have all make a good wine or two over the years.
This Shiraz deserved a good steak and that’s just what it got a big juice T Bone with fat beer batter chips and the chips were the only vegetable on the plate.
Truly keep it simple two flavours on a plate and a good bottle of wine; Perfecto!!!
