A warm welcome to all!

Our Sydney patrons have been patiently waiting for some events to come their way - and - I am delighted to tell you that we have two shows ON THE HOUSE in Sydney.
I had the pleasure of seing Albare iTD on tour with Long Way at The Melbourne Recital Centre and now, it is staged at The Sydney Opera House. This performance was nothing short of magical.

An exquisite, world-class lineup, with two outstanding double bass players who were certainly in the foreground, playing rhythm as well as bass. A drummer from Germany who mesmerized his audience with unique solo sections, an outstanding pianist, a very talented saxophonist and a most entertaining Albert Dadon (aka Albare) - whose hands and fingers hardly moved, and yet, he magically produced an orchestra of music.

This show is a must see event.
If you are from Sydney - book your tickets! If you are not from Sydney, you should get on a plane, go there, and see this show. If that sounds a bit outrageous, then just be nice and tell your Sydney friends not to miss this outstanding opportunity.People pay $90 to see this show and ON THE HOUSE members will pay $5 only.We are now starting to see shows from the Sydney Comedy Festival. The first Sydney comedy show listed ON THE HOUSE is called "When we were Idiots".

It is a show that we had on at Melbourne and we received some outstanding reviews.

Discovered by Matthias Winckelmann founder of Enja Records, Albare's (Moroccan, Israeli, French, Australian) compositions and recordings are poised to be enjoyed globally.Long Way, his recent recording in New York for Enja, is generating feel-good reviews around the world.

The popularity of the album stems from the melodic tunes and sticky rhythms performed by guitar virtuoso Albare and the world-class international quartet of drums, piano and bass accompanying him. When it comes to live performances,
Albare draws his line ups from a wealth of first class international musicians.
"He sounds like a positive blend of the late Wes Montgomery and an early George Benson. Airy and light melodic improvisations and the themes reflect an inner harmony of boundless grace." Jazzpodium (Germany)
