Plenty of action happening at Broadbeach Bowls Club for the women's pairs today. Worth heading down to have a look at some of these key match-ups.

Former Scottish international Kay Moran is competing with Australia’s most capped representative ever with 495 appearances, Karen Murphy. They won the triples in 2009 and pairs in 2011.

Two NSW young-guns on the verge of breaking into the Australian Jackaroos, Dawn Hayman and Jamie-Lee Worship. Jamie is also the Australian Indoor Championships youngest ever winner last year at 17.

19 year old Victorian Chloe Stewart, who made her Australian debut earlier this year, and Tasmania’s only world bowls champion Rebecca Van Asch.

Reigning singles and fours Australian Open champion Anne Johns, who also made the pairs final last year, is alongside fellow NSW Jackaroos star Natasha Scott.

Dual Malaysian Commonwealth Games gold medallist Siti Zalina Ahmad is competing alongside country-mate Azlina Arshad.

Defending pairs champions Emma Brown and Noelene Dutton from Brisbane.
