    Market Week enters final days

    We're past the Market Week 2013 halfway point but never fear, there's still three whole days of market fun to enjoy!

    Here's our top picks of what's happening at the Dandenong, South Melbourne, Prahran and Queen Victoria Markets over this final weekend of Market Week:

    The Great Icon Giveaways are set to be one of the most memorable highlights of the week with iconic produce being given away absolutely FREE during selected times and dates (while stocks last).

    Take a food journey through Western India with Dandenong Market's resident chef Russell Bald and Chaat Corner chef Amiben Parikh. Watch them demonstrate techniques to conjure the delectable flavours of this region.
    QUEEN VICTORIA MARKET - The Paella Festival.

    The final day of Market Week at Queen Vic is chock-full of fun events, with the Spanish Festival - featuring paella stands, Spanish entertainment and dancing - and the grand final of the Trader Cook Off, which will be judged by special guest Miguel Maestre. Miguel will also be judging the annual Market Week food eating competition, where you can pit your stomach against defending champion Vito from Market Lane Cafe in the Spanish Curros Challenge. But be warned- last year he wolfed down more than six dozen oysters!
