Witness Bright's deciduous trees in their breathtaking autumnal splendour, and return throughout the year to take advantage of the village's proximity to Victoria's alps, national parks and home-grown food and wine.
    Outdoor adventure
Two-wheel action is superb around Bright, whether you're a road cyclist or a mountain biker. Cruise the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail through the Ovens River Valley, or challenge yourself on the 7 Peaks Alpine Ascent.

Base yourself in Bright for winter snow activities, and return in spring and summer for hiking, kayaking, and even ballooning over the Alpine National Park.
    Food and wine
Visit boutique wineries, stock up on stunning produce and taste local ingredients in village cafés. Linger in the Wine and Cheese Bar at 5 Star Adventure Tours or finagle a reservation at Simone's, one of Victoria's most celebrated restaurants.
    Natural wonders
View Bright's picturesque setting on the Ovens River from lookouts at Mount Buffalo. See scenery like nothing else on the 230-kilometre Bogong Alpine Way (part of the Great Alpine Road), which loops through Bright, Mount Beauty, Falls Creek and over Dinner Plain and Mount Hotham
