    JAZZ AT THE RACES

    Topping off the Jazz Festival Weekend are the Mornington Racing Club’s Queen’s Birthday Races on Monday 8th June. There will be plenty to do for the whole family with Rob Papp and Jazz Head from noon followed by The C’est Si Le Bon Band live in the grandstand.General admission and corporate dining packages available.

    JAZZ ON THE TRAIN
    Step back in time to a bygone era, take a ride on a heritage train and enjoy live music on the train! At the Historical Mornington Railway there are both steam and diesel heritage broad gauge locomotives and passenger cars between Moorooduc and Mornington on Sunday 7th June.
    First train departs Moorooduc Station, Moorooduc Highway Cenr Two Bays Rd at 11am, then 12:15pm, 1:45pm & 3pm

    HISTORICAL GUIDED TOURS
    Explore yourself or take a guided tour around Man Street Mornington to discover the history of the former Schnapper Point fishing village. Browse in boutiques and stop at the old bank to withdraw beer, wine and cocktails. See Victoria’s oldest courthouse and adjoining lock-up, and embark on an historical adventure. Guided walks depart from the Old Post Office Museum on selected days.
    On both Sunday 7th June and Monday 8th June, guided walks will take place at:
    10.30am – Historic Main Street Walk, $5 (includes booklet), approx. 1 hour
    1.30pm – Historic Esplanade Walk, $5 (plus $5 for booklet), approx. 1 hour
    Walks leave from Old Post Office Museum, corner Main Street and Esplanade, Mornington – please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before start time. No bookings required, for enquiries contact Vicky ph. 0412 989 749.

    MAIN STREET GROOVES Main Street will come alive from 10am daily with plenty of free live entertainment the whole family can enjoy! There will also be planty of kids activity zones on offer where the little ones can be entertained with music, animals, balloon artistry and face painting.
