    Dizzy’s Big Band Featuring Peter Hearne
    Dizzy’s outstanding 18-piece Big Band plays every Wednesday playing traditional arrangements from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Count Basie and Duke Ellington through to modern masters such as Gordon Goodwin and Tom Harrell. Featuring a rotating roster of great singers each week.

    MOJO - Mordialloc Jazz Orchestra
    Led by the fabulous Peter Foley this big band will present a great night of entertainment and big band jazz with a variety of singers.

    Kunjani
    Kunjani is a long established band performing world jazz and African style rhythms. Mainly performing originals in various styles from samba rhythms, African-funk, soul, calypso, acid-jazz and gospel. Kunjani inspires everyone to dance with uplifting, fun and feel good music.

    Roger Clark’s Little Big Band with Christophe Genoux, Simon O’Neal, David Hardy & Rory Clark Trio
    Featuring an all-star cast, Roger Clark’s Little Big Band is the distillation of some of the finest and longest serving members of the Dizzy’s Big Band (which has been going for over 12 years). Tonight you will have the opportunity to witness some of the finest soloists in this town really stretch out on some fantastic repertoire. An exciting night of high-calibre jazz at its best!

    Monash Jazz Orchestra with Benny Dimas

    The Monash Jazz Orchestra is one of the best bands to come out of the Monash University campus. They perform regularly both on campus and around Melbourne. Boasting an 18 piece band and male vocalist they play a mixture of swing and both classic and modern jazz standards. Tonight they feature Benny Dimas who has performed under the alias Mama Alto throughout the Melbourne Cabaret festival.

    Award winning performer Jennie Mortimer combines the very best of Jazz and Swing standards, featuring the talents of Jeremy Diffey on Sax and Brenton Foster on piano.Given a smashing review in New York’s” Sondheim review magazine”, Jennie is sure to bring back the sounds of the 30′s and 40′s with a touch of today.

    John Montesante Quintet featuring Jeff Duff

    JEFF DUFF is one of the most versatile and unique talents Australia has to offer. Not only was he renowned as the front man of ‘70s glam-band, Kush, but he went on to forge a stellar career in Australia and abroad, performing across musical genres, acting, fronting his own bands and recording 27 albums to date. In the Jazz field he has recorded with the Ed Wilson Big Band, appears regularly at The Basement (Sydney) and is often a headliner at Jazz Festivals, including Melbourne, Manly, Thredbo, Noosa, Broadbeach and Darling Harbour. From Sydney, he sometimes sings with the JMQ and we are delighted to feature him at Dizzy’s tonight. Jeff and band leader John Montesante (Trumpet) have been colleagues and friends for four decades, and with them onstage tonight will be Scott Lambie (Drums), Dean Addison (Double Bass) and Joe Ruberto (Piano).
