It is with the greatest pleasure I welcome an old mate aboard the good ship TT!

Jamie Redfern, and his brother Derek, have had a long time association with the Toorak Times through the Pensioner Xmas parties held at Prahran Town Hall every Christmas day lunch for over 10 years in the '70's/'80's, graciously giving their time to sing backed Dennis Farrington's big band of renown...I used to ring the Muso's Union in Wellington Street and a 16 piece band always turned up.

Jamie has an exquisite insight into the old school of Australian music and entertainment industry, his childhood brilliance saw him also catapulted into an international career with, at the time, the very top end of US connections, and he will bring an intimate and understanding point of view in his stories profiling Australian legendary entertainers...I'll bate your breath in expectation...its a pretty wiggly interview though.

Thanks Mick, it's great to be with you mate. Still getting used to the intricacies of the TT site and all it entails (very cool stuff, by the way) - but am looking forward to writing lots of articles, and creating pages/sections etc based on or around interesting topics the public might enjoy and have some fun with.
