  1. Chronic Illness and Healing the Four Bodies

by , 2nd February 2015 at 07:30 PM (I Believe in Miracles - I am one of them)
Any chronic illness, such as cancer, does not have to be a death sentence, or a long-term illness. You have the potential to heal your own body at any time.
In my studies, I learnt about the metaphysical world. The Macquarie Dictionary describes ‘metaphysical’ as: “concerned with abstract thought or subjects, as existence, causality, truth, etc.” It focuses on the non-physical, rather than the physical. This applies to your mental, emotional, and spiritual/energy ‘bodies’. Call them levels, areas, or even pillars if you like; the title or category is not important. What is important is for you to understand what they are, and how to heal them. Health problems are all about ‘cause and effect’; in the case of cancer, it is the effect and ...

  2. How to cope and remain positive through a health crisis

by , 15th January 2015 at 10:51 PM (I Believe in Miracles - I am one of them)
This is always a very difficult thing to do. For one thing, you are usually not feeling that well, so it is quite hard to stay chipper and up-beat. For another thing, if like me, you had been rushed off to hospital unexpectedly to be given four units of blood (which is quite a bit), then experienced a bone marrow biopsy (not my most favourite experience), and finally be told that you had multiple myeloma (what??) – then yes, it can come as quite a shock. So I guess you could say, I know what I’m talking about.
Then the question is: How do you cope and stay positive through a health crisis? My answer is: You do the best you can. Accept that there will be times when you will feel down and disillusioned, and there will be times when you ...

  3. A bit about my background

by , 4th January 2015 at 07:19 PM (I Believe in Miracles - I am one of them)
It is wide and varied …
I was a single mother, raising my two beautiful children solely on my own – I am a battler.
I have been married three times and divorced twice – I am experienced in relationships.
I was able to give up full-time work in the corporate sector after nearly thirty years and study art – I am a visual artist and sculptor.
    I have kept a Journal/diary for many years – I am a writer.
I followed through on an interest in psychic development – I am a spiritual person.
But most importantly of all, I have lived through a very difficult cancer – I am a cancer survivor!
In saying that, I do not give up easily – I am a fighter.
I give my love generously to others, and have now learnt ...

  4. What inspired me to write my book

by , 11th December 2014 at 09:43 PM (I Believe in Miracles - I am one of them)
At the end of 2011, I was informed that after a long battle, I had finally gone into full remission from multiple myeloma. By this time, my friends had started saying that I should share my story with others because I had been such an inspiration to them. Even though at that time I did not feel as though I had inspired anyone, as I was struggling with fatigue, vomiting, etc. from the anti-rejection drugs I was on, I still had a strong desire to help others. I also had a feeling that it was very important to get my story out there. Not sure why; it was just one of those strong feelings.
Then one day in January 2012, when I was in the garden trying to tackle the weeds that had been neglected for nearly three years, the thought popped into ...
