Forming in the early 2000s, the band took their name from one of their biggest inspirations…Linda McCartney, the late wife of Beatles member Paul McCartney. ‘Linda is an extension of our friendship and enduring passion for this music.

    Ron Vincent – Sings Cat Stevens

    Ron Vincent has been performing professionally for 28 years as a singer/guitarist in many parts of Australia and all over the world. His act is the only one of its kind that is endorsed by Cat Stevens himself! Growing up in the ’70s with influences such as Neil Diamond, Jimi Hendrix and John Lennon, it was natural attraction for Vincent when he first heard the voice of Cat Stevens. “I have a strong emotional connection with the music. You can’t just sing the song perfectly note for note, you gotta have that soul connection to get the mood across,” Ron said.


    Kristin Hersh (USA) ‘Don’t Suck, Don’t Die’ Tour

    Kristin Hersh is a founding member of the band Throwing Muses and 50 FT wave as well as having had an extensive and influential solo career. Her memoir ‘Rat Girl’ was widely praised from the New York Times to Rolling Stone which named it one of the top ten rock memoirs ever written. ‘Donít Suck, Donít Die Ė Giving Up Vic Chesnutt’ is her latest book, a memoir of her good friend, US singer/songwriter Vic Chesnutt who sadly took his own life in 2009. Kristin Hersh returns to Australia, her home away from home, to perform material from across her catalogue which includes that of Alternative rock, folk and pop interspersed with readings from ‘Donít Suck, Donít Die. Support on the night will be from Melbourne folk duo Broads featuring Kelly Day and Jane Hendry of The Nymphs. Kristin Hersh is a uniquely, creative talent that is not to be missed.
