There are far too many stories to summarise, but the story of Ron’s untimely death due to an aneurism, just 9 days short of their 62nd wedding anniversary, is indeed a moving story.

    Continuing her story from the years of the second world war, we learn how circumstances led to Kate commencing a lifetime job in publishing. We learn how she met Ron Kennedy and how their meeting led to almost 62 years of marriage before Ron’s passing. In talking about her family and how she balanced her work and family, we are introduced to Mark Kennedy, possibly Australia’s greatest living drummer. Mark has played with the best Australian and overseas groups and is feted worldwide. Kate gives us a rare insight into how Mark commenced his career and the condition she put on him, which years later he thanked her for.
