Chardonnay comes in many shapes and sizes this is just a few.

Giaconda 2010

4220

Beechworth

$140.00

This is amongst the best Australian Chard’s and there are a few I love the Nose of this wine; Soft cashew nut, white stones a little oak that flows on to the palate in waves changing with each mouth full.

It just opens layer after layer it is an outstanding wine.

And it will get better with time.

Coldstream Hills Reserve 2010

4234

Yarra Valley

$65.00

Nose: Warm hazelnuts with hints of wonderful vanilla oak wafting in and out, In the mouth stone fruit leads the charge as flavours flow over the plate finishing long very long.

For me this wine is perfect right now every thing is in balance Yarra Valley Chard at its best!

Organic One Reserve Chardonnay 2009

4233

Billabong creek NSW

$20.00

Organic wine has improved over the years, and this is one to look for don’t let the price fool you for your $20.00 you get full flavoured wine with out the chemicals.

Nose: Aromas of apples, stone fruit ripe quince rapt around lemon very interesting.

Palate: In the mouth the flavours are clean and lifted with bright citrus and green melon entwined with a honeyed finish that lingers and invites you to drink this wine with Yabbies.
(Organic ones of course)
