Fighting Gully Road Tempranillo 2008

Colour: Dark and deep almost black

Nose: There are ripe dark fruits a little spice hints of oak

If I was tasting this wine blind (not seeing the bottle not drunk)

Shiraz was the first variety that came to mind.

Palate: Wow I love Spanish wine, for an Australian Tempranillo

This is good very good both savoury with sweet red and black fruit,

Finishing with fine grained tannins long soft yet powerful

This wine will age well and for its $24.99 it delivers.

PS If you like Shiraz give this wine a try.
