ALLIRA 2011 Pinot Noir

The truth is you don't get much of a Pinot under $25.00 however

There are a few that deliver well above their price point and this is one such Pinot

Colour: Dark cherry and very clear red

Nose: Takes time to open but there is beetroot, spice and mushroom. For best results decant for several hours.

Palate: There are firm but silky tannins that finish long and soft with hints of spice. Almost French in body and weight medium bordering on light, this is not a big wine. However I enjoyed this wine, the longer it was decanted the better it gets!

I have this with spicy food Chinese ECT, nothing to demanding simple food simple wine.

But it will cellar for up to 3+ years easy
