When a beer drinker walks into our shop for the first time, they often ask us if we even sell beer. Yes, we do! And not just the normal brands! For those who are beer drinkers as well as wine drinkers, come along to our beer tasting! Hearty English Ales - completely suitable for this chilly weather. Not a beer drinker? There will also be some great ciders on tasting as well.

Wine of The Week
Raidis "The Kid" Riesling 2011 and Raidis "Billy" Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

A couple of new kids on the block! Well - like all new kids there is normally a history of hard work behind them.

Chris Raidis grew up in Coonawarra after his family migrated from rural Greece. After many years of growing strawberries, he was finally convinced to plant grape vines by winemakers from the area who happily bought them for nearly 20 years. After his son, Steven, decided to buy a vineyard in Coonawarra, Chris and his wife joined forces with their son and his wife and Raidis Estate was born.

Raidis "The Kid" Riesling 2011 is a fresh, alive Riesling with floral and apple characters. Voted the Number 3 wine in South Australia by 'The Adelaide Review'. Seriously good drinking at on $19.95

Raidis "Billy" Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 is made from the grapes that Chris planted 20 years ago. A lovely medium weighted wine with hints of mint and capsicum overlying the core of blackcurrant fruit. Also beautiful drinking at $25.95.

Special introductory offer - buy one of each for only $44.00
