Life after A+ Australian Wine Celebration

We have been privileged and thoroughly enjoyed our involvement with the A+ Australian Wine Celebration. We've had some super Aussie wines on tasting!

But there is life after the A+ Celebration and our tastings continue. We look forward to seeing you at more of our tastings - giving you the chance to taste before you buy and at special prices. Most are Aussie with a sprinkling of imported wines thrown in.

Cheers! See you soon!

The modest Shadowfax has been quietly making excellent, understated wines since the early 2000’s. Shadowfax’s winemaker – Matt Harrop – has been rated as ”one of the most talented winemakers in the country” by Campbell Mattinson.
We are privileged to have Luke Langton from Shadowfax giving us sneak previews of their new releases including their renowned Chardonnay. Not to be missed! Free.

Blue Pyrenees
Friday 11 May 2012 5:00 – 8:00pm
The famous Cognac producer Remy Martin established Blue Pyrenees in the early 1960’s with assistance from some of Australia’s most experienced wine people – John Robb and Colin Preece. Now the wines are made under watchful eye of Andrew Koerner – a Roseworthy winemaking graduate who brought a wealth of experience to Blue Pyrenees.
Rex Robinson, a local, who joined Blue Pyrenees nine years ago, will be in our Fine Wine Room leading us through the sparklings, reds and whites. Free.

Il Borro – premium Tuscan wines just arrived in Australia

Il Borro is a non-expense spared nearly twenty-year-old wine estate situated south east of Florence in the Valdarno region. The oenologist Nicolo D’Afflitto replanted the vineyard with varieties to match the terroir of each part of the 45 ha vineyard. The money behind Il Borro is the luxury-clothing dynasty of Salvatore Ferragamo. The care that they take with their clothes is also going into their wines. Lucky for us (and you) that we these wines on tasting! Free.
