She's back!
Theatrical innovator and multi award-winning comedian Christopher Green brings his wonderfully outrageous character, Tina C, to The Substation stage for the very first time.
Direct from her electrifying season at the Sydney Opera House and Brisbane Powerhouse, country music superstar and global icon for the American way of life, Tina C has been to Australia a bunch of times and has figured out that there's some stuff to work out between the older and newer inhabitants of this country. And she's the woman to make it happen. Using the obvious tool - the healing power of country music.
Accompanied by acclaimed artist Lou Bennett, and with her unique mix of biting political satire, glamour and comedy songs, Tina C will make you look at our country through new eyes.
Suitable for ages 16+
"One of the greatest comic creations of the age..." -Stephen Fry
"Seriously funny and deadly clever...Green's comic vehicle is as brilliant as she is disingenuous. Go see Tina C" -Elly Varrenti, The Age
